Fairly decent vacations and sick leaves

Nice to get 3 weeks right a way but 7 years to get 4 weeks

Newspaper carriers did not get paid time off which makes sense. We had to inform them 2 weeks ahead of time for time off.

I got 17 days a year right off the bat.

New employees started with 3 weeks vacation and 2 personal float days per year which seemed very fair. Allowances were made for personal appointments as needed.

have to wait 3 months before using, then it accrues overtime slowly. Would prefer if all given right away so i can plan out what vacation time i have and how to use them to best suit me and my vacation needs.

Some employees I work with have over 6 weeks vacation. Your sick days are not counted in this. I am not the kind of employee to use this, but I imagine once you run out of vacation some people might just call in sick for the days they need off.
