Je travaille chez Alensa à temps plein depuis plus d'un an

    Avantages

    - Easy tasks - Friendly colleagues - Good for newbies with no work experience

    Inconvénients

    - They call Alensa like an international company, but they only speak Czech between them, excluding the foreigners. - Lots of gossips between the "leaders" which represents lack of professionalism. - They offer you a nice position with a nice "title" but at the end you will be only a call center agent. - Your ideas are not considered at all. - Your "leader" will be a girl who has no idea of what leadership is, terrible personal presentation and she does not communicate in a professional matter. - There´s no escalation process, so employees have to take all the responsibility. Everything is like a high school. - CEO only thinks about revenue and his employees are treated just like call center robots. Where is the motivation and career growth? - They say the company is growing fast but in the end, they are just hiring people and then firing them for no reason. - Employees never know what is happening with the company. - The atmosphere is toxic, you can feel how bored people are. - CEO wants everything cheap, for customers and employees. Where is price for quality? -Nothing is planned. - All good reviews are fake because management asks employees to write them.

J'ai travaillé chez Alensa à temps plein plus d'un an

    Avantages

The team is young and international, which results a good enviroment for expats and entrants. Teambuildings are great, and thanks to that you have the chance to make a type of connection with your colleagues, which can make your time better during the workday, and can exist outside of the workplace too. Benefits are great, leaders are flexible and there is a possibility for home office upon agreement. You can gather knowledge about various things if you show interest.

    Inconvénients

The job can become monotonous after a while

Je travaille chez Alensa à depuis plus d'un an

    Avantages

Small company with big people. I think the people are the most important part in Alensa and this is the reason why Alensa is where it is! :-) I don't like corporate structure and I am so glad that I cannot see it here. I can be creative and try new things. My ideas are taken into consideration by the management and the MM even often takes steps to apply these ideas. I can feel that everybody is part of the team and no one is discriminated. I have support from colleagues and CEO I enjoy coffee time with colleagues where we can brainstorm together and of course: I enjoy Alensa legendary parties and breakfasts! :-)

    Inconvénients

Alensa grows really fast and has problems with the new processes sometimes. It is usual that nothing works right immediately when implemented for the first time. The good thing is that management works on it and the results can be seen. :-)

    Avantages

Flexible work time, home office from time to time, bonus on salary

    Inconvénients

The management is extremely young and inexperienced and it shows. They have lots of young Czechz in leadership positions who clearly have no idea about what leadership really is, which results in a very stressful work environment with regards to bullying, gossip and fear mongering. If you're not Czech you're constantly being monitorized and undermined. Your skills don't matter, and you Can only get ahead if you "know someone". In fact, if you're too good at something, it's Seen As a bad thing. In time, this kind of environment makes you realize why you should've chosen a bigger corporation in The first place. Czechs always defend each other, even if they do something wrong themselves, and The company isn't As international As it proclaims itself to be. If you object to something, or try to behave on equal terms, you end Up being bullied. Even if you never object to anything, The management is always extremely suspicious Of you, probably because they themselves Lie a lot. The job Can be easily done from home but people Are kept in the office in order to be constantly monitored. Every little break you take is monitored and you must do overtime. Lunch is in front Of The laptop. Classic micromanagement.

    Avantages

Can work independently Regular team-building events Flexible start time

    Inconvénients

Derelict building in dodgy part of Prague No internal communication No internal structure No chain of command No established work flow No system of internal checks/review This company pretends to be big, friendly, and international when it's convenient. It's the equivalent of a little kid wanting to stay up late and eat ice cream for dinner, but not wanting to pay taxes or go to the dentist. Alensa wants to pretend to operate in the big leagues among successful, more established companies, but refuses to operate in a modern, effective manner (i.e., spend money or be in any way open minded). This 90s-era approach to business and marketing means they have no regard for their current employees' strengths, skills, talents, or contributions. Prepare to track every minute you spend working on meaningless tasks, the results of which will never be checked, verified, or analysed. Every minute spent “on the clock” will be counted and your time micromanaged. There is no market research conducted, and Alensa fully expects a Czech business model (that's being generous) to be effective when selling and doing business in all other European countries. As a result, dubious, often patently dishonest marketing tactics are employed. “Customer service” is an irrelevant concept here. Alensa exhibit zero respect for their paying customers and little more for their employees. The only qualifications required to work here are speaking a certain EU language (which is necessary solely for dealing with the company's appalling customer service problems) and a willingness to accept a paltry starting salary, which is low even by local and entry-level standards. Job descriptions are vague, undefined, or completely inaccurate, which makes communication and establishing an effective work flow nearly impossible. The company's priorities are poorly defined, and they often change without notice, usually after management has read a particularly interesting magazine article or heard an engaging speaker at a local conference.

J'ai travaillé chez Alensa à temps plein moins d'un an

    Avantages

If you want a stress free job with no meaningful or rewarding work, this is the place for you. You can go in, do little work and pick up your salary at the end of the month. Coffee machine is quite good also.

    Inconvénients

Poor communication, no meetings to update staff on what is going on within the company. If you don't speak Czech you are made to feel like an outsider and no important information will be shared with you. A new person can join the company but they will not be introduced to the team and you will not be told their role. When a new task is given to staff, it is communicated via a poorly worded email that is lacking basic details. You are then left to complete the task with little guidance or direction. As the atmosphere is very closed and communication is lacking, it can be difficult to openly discuss issues related to work and how to improve working conditions. This does not appear to be a problem for management as they do not value their staff at all. Additionally, there are no KPI’s, targets or goals. There is also no training available so months will pass by and you will feel like you have achieved nothing, apart from sampling the array of drinks available via the coffee machine. The high turnover of staff is likely to continue unless management begin to value their employees. There are some benefits available to staff but again these will not be communicated with you, instead you have to find out via a colleague months after joining the company. There is no scheduled break or lunch break, therefore you must eat lunch at your desk. For a company that provides articles on how to look after your eyes and eyesight, a scheduled break away from your desk would be helpful but again, this is a company that does not care about its employees. The job description is quite misleading too. Input into email campaigns is non-existent as is the input into most social media posts. Finally, it is difficult to trust the reviews on the website as employees were instructed to write fake reviews.

    Avantages

    Independent work environment, coffee machine.

    Inconvénients

Poor management, no trainings, the CEO makes decisions based on his own opinions (not based on real data or effective marketing strategies). The website is wrong on so many levels! (no filters, bad internal search, fake reviews, fake comments, poor content). Is almost impossible to have a management position if you are not Czech. Social media spreading sexist messages and bad jokes. This company doesn't care about its customers and employees at all.
