    Lack of security No personal or family life. No reimbursement for use of vehicle for store marketing Employees are not trusted. Stores have audio and video, you are watched throughout the day, not for safety reasons, but to insure your not stealing and your not wasting time on the clock. They can even listen to personal conversations.

    Try treating employees a little better. A lot of the gossiping upper management says needs to stop actually comes from from upper management. You need to stop going store to store talking about the employees of the last store you were at. Show some professionalism!! While you're watching and listening to employees on your laptop, if it doesn't concern Cash Express, turn the volume down. Sometimes the only person... someone has to talk to is the person beside them all day. Everything is not your business, especially if they are being productive. Show some professionalism. If you have a robbery, ask how your employee is BEFORE you ask about the money. We all know you have that money insured, your employees get workmans comp. at best. Remember, you started in the same spot of the person you are belittling now, and You said you would never treat anyone the way you are treating them now.

    Incredibly hard to get time off for anything Upper management is horrible

    Coach your employees instead of manipulating them and trying to get them in trouble. Stop changing instructions once an hour and then getting angry because someone did what YOU TOLD THEM TO DO. Realize you cannot get 10 hours of marketing done each in one day, it is physically impossible. Stop punishing new employees constantly while they’re still learning.

    Avantages

    Good bonuses, getting to know lots of people, learning lots of new things. For the most part, you will have a stable schedule. Community events are always a blast. Independence.

    Inconvénients

    Poor management, employees are blamed for thing going wrong, use your own vehicle to market with your own gas, early mornings and late nights. Long hours. Breaks are not guaranteed. Customers can be rude and hateful. Only 2 or 3 employees per store, so working a store by yourself is common. Lots of things to do in a day's work.

    Be more appreciative and grateful for your employees. It will make them want to do a good job. Yelling/belittling isn't always the answer to a problem.

    None, The worst management ever!

    Inconvénients

    Crappy management, horrible working conditions, micro managed even bathroom breaks are micro managed they wanna know what you are doing at all times. There is one camera and they sit and listen to you on their phones tablets and laptops, you will Run your car into the dirt and drain your bank account for the cost of gas to market outside 12 hours a week that you are not giving any reimbursement , no trust they... treat all employees like thieves, and when you go to their manager meetings they belittle you by drawing names and asking the persons name drawn a question and if they get it right they give you smarties candy and if you get it wrong they give you dumb dumb suckers or air heads just a nasty place doing nasty business. The owner is the worst he will talk to you like you ain’t nothing and write you up if you make a complaint. And you do prolly 7 different peoples jobs for the pay of one and it is not great. Store managers only make 1 dollar more then their assistants it’s a big joke.

    The customers are great...it's nice getting a bonus. Definitely empowering once you get to manage your own store.

    Inconvénients

    Gary McNabb only cares about money. He pretends to care about employees but doesn't. One of my friends that was a manager at another store was robbed at gun point and the first question they asked her was how much money the robber got away with and the only security they have are cheap store cameras they use to check on you and listen and watch you throughout the day. I worked at a store that had zero visibility... leaving the store at night when you'd have to drop the night bag off to the bank and after other loan stores were getting robbed my assistant and I felt extremely uncomfortable and even had some suspicious activity with weird phone calls to our store and a car that kept circling our store throughout the day for days and after even calling the cops to help monitor he said we really needed security cameras so I called and emailed Gary about cameras outside the building but of course this had zero benefit to him so he said no and didn't even respond to my email which is why I ended up calling him. They don't care about weather conditions when it comes to marketing and will even make you close your store to market which the customers strongly dislike. You can kiss your bonus goodbye while you pour it right back into gas tank. There is so much drama there it's unreal you can't really trust anyone. I loved the customers but the upper management are selfish and seriously don't care about your safety at all. Get this, if another cash express store is robbed near you, you WILL NOT hear about this threat because all they care about is keeping you in that store making them money instead of warning you of the risk or letting you know what to look out for.....like seriously???

    Take better care of your employees on another level. Make better security measures and let stores do what works for their stores and stop making them waste time on tasks that don't work for their stores. And seriously closing a store will never benefit a store it just ticks them off the customers you already have and turns away new business....no new customer wants to call some number on a sign about getting a loan... they're likely not thrilled about getting in the first place.
