I am continually impressed by the caliber of people that are employed by Nasty Gal! Being a full time mom on top of working full time I have had to switch my schedule around multiple times. The management team has been very accommodating and understanding in this regard, always going the extra mile to make sure I am happy with my new schedule.
As far as work environment and work pressure goes, it's really up to you. There is very little downtime that I observe in any of the roles here and that is not a bad thing at all. Our leadership team is inspiring and seem to genuinely care about our advancement and overall happiness so if you put in the work, it will get noticed!

After working there a year as a customer service rep, i noticed quickly that the Sheperdsville office was nothing like LA. Thry would ignore calls to send us to the wh to save money and we ended up having 100-200 abandoned calls per day. I was pregnant and often the only one taking calls or being sent out to the WH. Blatant racism. Only 2-3 minorities here and just overall not what I thought it would be. Soooo glad i got outta there! Every since Sherri Watterson has taken over...things have gone downhill

Focus on Customer Service FIRST. Stop always seeing $$$ & really get to the root of issues..also atop hiring newbies to save $ on mngmt because they know nothing!! (A.Davis)

Loved my coworkers, most... Loved showing new agents who were eager to learn and take care of customers what it truly means to go above and beyond. Was able to grow to some extent, depending on who your supervisor is. So much potential but no qualified leaders who know how to cultivate and grow it into to a cohesive success.
Inconvénients
Unqualified supervisors, not judged by the quality of the team they lead but by how much They were liked. Excellent quality is cast aside for productivity instead of hiring people who know how to bring the best of both out of agents. They do not care about lower level employees, everyone is replaceable, and the second you are no longer "in the circle" you are either fired, or forced to quit because you can't tolerate the horrible treatment. Secrecy is their main tool and its toxic to a company if they want to thrive, and want a team that is invested in the company's success. Management Tolerated extremely unethical behavior with no accountability. People who were supposed to know about their position were no help when real problems arose, and don't get me started on their IT issues... Who completely overhauls wms in the middle of peak!?!?

Listen to your employees, look at the fruit of their labor. Are they leading a successful team, or are they losing great employees? Clean house of upper management and supervisors, but honestly, it's too late for that. The people that actually do put a pos review on here, don't even give enough info to support their joke of a claim...

Avantages
Very flexible about schedules, you can be an adult and don't feel like you are being babysat like at other companies, occasional company sponsored lunches or outings (these have reduced dramatically in frequency lately though), overall young company culture.
Inconvénients
Don't seem to be doing well financially, pay is not great unless you are senior (and then you are on the front lines for layoffs) or executive, seem to be constantly in a reactive state, strategy changes so often that you have to go back and undo all the things you just spent weeks working on at least once a season, not a lot of trickle down transparency from upper management.

Lying about the state of things just lowers morale and makes everyone feel like secrets are being kept and it's scary. If you were open and honest, we would feel more empowered to help solve the problems.

Some really great, talented coworkers. Cool product and ok discount. Nice modern office space.
Inconvénients
Debilitating and demoralizing atmosphere, spirit breaking work load, obvious culture of blatant nepotism, intense and extremely stressful conditions, 0 work life balance, intolerable executive management. It is a completely unsustainable working environment with no job security leading to sick and emotionally broken staff with a laughably high turnover.

Stop the lies and the consistently changing strategies. Appreciate your staff and show them some respect. Offer positivity and compliments as well as constructive criticism as opposed to shameless degradation of everyone's hard work and effort.

Huge gap in communication, integrity, & professionalism from top to bottom, benefits are a joke, no recognition, reviews, or merit for work, zero support from management/HR, also desk areas are cluttered, computer equipment is old, and over all a really dirty environment to sit at with all the dogs peeing everywhere.

Get it together! Stop pointing fingers, blaming other departments for things not completed, & taking your frustrations out on the teams - Stop cussing in meetings too, show up on time, prepared, and give those the attention they deserve. With 15-20+ Yrs of experience each claims to have in this industry you should know better and implement all your past experience into changing the "scrappy" environment into a positive and professional one. Try treating the people who hustle for you with respect and kindness! Higher standards for the hiring process would also do you wonders.

they laidoff nineteen people with not warning and they just give them severence pay and say they will help them find a new job well here is an idea take care of your employees especially when they have been four years

you need to be worried about the team and not your own paychecks if you want a team to grow and work for you because we are all upset about it
