    Avantages

    Très bonne ambiance d'entraide entre collègues Hiérarchie très réduite et facilement accessible Démarche de progrés continue structuréee: on apprend toujours de nouvelle chose Projets intéressants touchant au coeur du métier de nos clients Défis intellectuels intéressants résolus en équipe

    Inconvénients

    Il faut savoir parler et écrire en bon anglais. Il faut accepter un grande transparence de son activité afin de mieux collaborer.

    Suite au rachat par Dassaut Système, il est important de s'assurer que Quintiq conserve son autonomie et son organisation propice à la prise d'initiative et au développement d'un esprit entrepreunarial.

    Avantages

    - Really smart and helpful colleagues. - Business consultant role provides great opportunities to grow and learn about how corporations operate and plan their operations - Global career development opportunities - Paid overtime (in some countries)

    Inconvénients

    - This ain't a place for faint-hearted. Consultant work is difficult and stressful, with customer delivery projects generally under-resourced vs timelines. Did see quite many cases of work-related exhaustion and experienced colleagues leaving the company to seek more balanced pace. - Company culture is quite inward-looking and hierarchical, involving micromanagement and "manage by escalation" principles so that... things do not really move ahead unless escalated to business unit director level or higher - Salaries appear to track behind the real job expectation levels

    Avantages

    Time for time policy (salalry is for 40 hr weeks and every hour over/under is calculated and can be taken as vacation), flexibility, smartest people in the world

    Inconvénients

    salary inflexibility and management claims that it is very well researched and paid for, but when shown other research disclaims them as not professional, but do not want to reveal their research. Travel time is paid less than 50%,

    Avantages

    Office environment Minimal stress depending on projects High flexibility Good exposure to industries A company that tries to emulate big companies like Google. They managed to emulate some aspects well as mentioned above like flexibility and office design. Note the aspects above although are found in Quintiq but nowadays can also be found in many software companies.

    Inconvénients

    After acquisition, everything is falling. 4 years after acquisition, they only managed to re-brand under the new company. Once great culture is gone, now we are following the culture of parent company that originated from France (Read: bureaucracy). Poor software and language. If they ever read one of the most popular software developer website - Stack Overflow, there's yearly survey being done, just google... "Stack Overflow survey 2019". You can see most important job factor is "Languages, frameworks, and other technologies" but this aspect is one of the worst. Buggy software with various limitation for developers. And finally, they now have CI/CD. They have a concept of building every single peace of software that they need in-house, for no good reason, is not like the software they built have top-notch quality. For the sake of business and rapid development, most projects only require minimal changes with a template project as a starting point. The day-to-day work is getting more and more boring. The yearly increment is incredibly low after acquisition, not to mention starting salary for fresh graduates have not been increased for many many years. Extremely poor management. Don't even bother raising issues to management as they will always come up with excuses as their main job is to please the upper management (their bosses) rather than the employees working under them. This include current new HR as the whole former HR team resigned to protest against the management (and nothing happened).

    Management in Malaysia is practically non existential. Stop being delusional, look out of that box that your field of vision have been in for years.

    Good and friendly colleagues. Excellent office environment

    Inconvénients

    Proprietary language used is still a big issue if you were to look for another technical job outside Quintiq. That happened to a lot of people who wanted to leave the company. So your technical skills acquired in Quintiq is useless in the outside world. Fresh graduates should avoid Quintiq.

    Avantages

    You get to work with very smart people and get exposure to international colleagues in business units around the world. Also great benefits, well stocked pantry, top notch coffee machine.

    Inconvénients

    Bureaucracy, employees in Malaysia may feel second class as work is outsourced here. Career growth opportunities depends on your manager's influence and is not very well structured.

    - The work tend to be not challenging as per Job Description - Since the buy over, the company is still ongoing restructuring and facing lots of corporate uncertainties. However financially, they are really strong as part of Dassault billion dollar business

    Keep up the good work, i've been here only for 9 months, but the management is one of the best that i've seen in a MNC company. Lots of growth if given the opportunity and right direction set by Dassault.

    Avantages

    Very good place to work in, in addition with being surrounded by good, smart and friendly employees. Flexi hour policy, can work from home, and a very balanced work-life. Exposure to many people and employees from different regions is another plus.

    Inconvénients

    - unrewarding challenges that come with very sub-par increment and bonus, causing massive deterioration in employees' happiness - a few benefits have been taken away, decreasing happiness once again - don't think current fresh graduates will stick any longer due to the unchanged base salary since 2012 - proprietary language hinders many aspects of technical development

    Talk about hiring plan, but please do talk also about retention plan for existing employees. You need to figure out the reason of the massive turnover rate. Maybe, just maybe, the salary is unsustainable, and employees need to disburse for various parts of living costs even though they enjoy working in Quintiq.
