    Avantages

    No pros other than: it's a job & you have bills to pay

    Inconvénients

    IT: (1) Managers who make your life miserable if you have more experience than they do(which doesn't take much)
    (2) "Have to hires" - hiring or moving over people for roles fir which they are not qualified because they know the right people and are bored with their assistant jobs.
    (3) They demand you to work OT then you don't get paid for those hours, not even reg time pay. They simply won't pay you.
    (4) IT and PMO the worst offenders.

    Management doesn't want to hear advice, as long as there's a body in the chair. They'll go through you like a wash and rinse cycle. "There's always another person or contractor." - that's their motto.

    Avantages

    The company mostly works through contracts. The advantage of this is that there are many different projects the company is working on, so depending on where you live, you may have a unique opportunities. You work on important projects - typically water-related.

    The benefit package included a service called "HealthAdvocate" which is pretty useful for sending you cash rewards to stay fit, get regular checkups, and the like. The service also can arrange for doctor's appointments and connect you with a nurse to answer heatlh-related questions or even help you arrange home care for immediate family.

    The people who worked at my project were great and from what I hear, they continue to be be great.

    Inconvénients

    Pay will probably leave you wanting for more if you're new.

    1) Keep up the dedication to quality, you've built an excellent reputation.
    2) Make HR more aggressive at developing talent and benefits to keep people on-board.
    3) Show employees what changes are being made as a result of the annual satisfaction surveys and keep working on ways to help employees see that the surveys are anonyous.
    4) If a management change is recommended, generalize it across a region so that suggestion from smaller units of employees remain anonymous.

    Avantages

    Great Company to work for. Management in this division advocated for their staff. Management created a team like atmosphere, we all worked together to help each other.

    Inconvénients

    Company had several divisions, ( from property management to wastewater) if one division was not managed well, it not only hurt that division but it would hurt the company as a whole due to all divisions/entities being under the same company name even though they were completely different business models.

    Listen to your front line people. If you have the right people in the right positions doing the right things.... listen to them they know what your clients/customers are saying.

    No communication, upper management does not support frontline employees, change schedule whenever without regard to impact of employee, lack of training, lack of professionalism on behalf of manager, nepotism
