  1. « Pas satisfait. »

    (Traduit de l'anglais)

    Avantages

    Avantages

Best place to start developping as an engineer. It's literally a school where you learn to apply Lean Manufacturing techniques on a daily basis.
Discount in cars, over time paid.
The working atmosphere is a plus.

    Inconvénients

    Bad work/life balance.
Tight deadlines because of big worldwide projects.

    Conseils à la direction

Try to apply some team building with your staff and continuous feedback would be appreciated too.

Je travaille chez Toyota North America à plein temps (Plus de 3 ans)

    Avantages

    Large convenient campus
Some of the Executives are pretty laid back and down to earth
    Lease Program
    Tuition Reimbursement
    Camaraderie among colleagues

    Inconvénients

Expensive cafeteria, fitness center doesn't really align with most work schedules. The classes are all middle of the day making it difficulty for those who cannot leave their desk often. People of color RARELY see a promotion! Diversity is not just hiring minorities, it is treating them fairly and allowing them the same salary and treatment as your other races. There seems to be a lack of transparency within the leadership team and people are promoted because they whine and complain or threaten to leave while the hardworking employees are overlooked. The dept is rapidly changing with no clue as to whether people will even still have jobs in the new year and many analyst who do the work of managers and most certainly sr. analyst are not promoted because of the kiss-up mentality of the ones who do move up. They do not adhere to their own core values nor do they care that the team member morale has dropped significantly. They barely say thank you for your hard work and recognition is non existent! They just put money into their own pockets and continue to cry broke when an employee requests an increase or promotion.

    Conseils à la direction

Stop spending money promoting yourselves and promote your teams! Throwing a lavish party after telling us to find ways to cut budgets is contradicting and a slap in the face. You promote your leadership team all the time and leave your other job levels in the pits with many struggling to pay bills! The only development that truly happens are for level 17+... Look at ALL of your talent, not just the ones you like! This backwards Robin Hood theory is eventually going to cost you your reputation and your retention! Minorities are just as intelligent as your other races and it is really sad that in one particular dept. none have been promoted! Not even your best! Be true to your values! I am sure you would agree that the happiness of your employees increase the happiness of your customers so find a culture, build it and live it! Please stop suggesting the speak up line to team members because it is the least effective option for the company! There is nothing about that speak-up line that remains confidential or without retaliation. Let's be serious about this, the leaders chatter among one another and to whoever has time to listen. When you ask a question they pretend they do not know what is going on and the admins aren't any better! Hire your longterm business partners! if you can promote a GM to VP, then you can turn an contractor to team member! Bottom line is I hope you take this review to heart because many of your team members now hate coming to work and dread the idea that they moved here and some can't wait to fly back to LA permanently!

J'ai travaillé chez Toyota North America en contrat permanent

    Avantages

Very nice people to work with and provided a lot of projects that are relevant to mechanical engineering and process engineering

    Inconvénients

Not too many cons other than the fact that some staff can show some hostility and there is a lack of organisation in the company.

    Conseils à la direction

My advice to management would be to hold more team building exercises so that staff from different departments can work better as a team.
