    Avantages

    - Flexible work schedule. - Good benefits. - Friendly co-workers. - Accommodating to people with disabilities

    Inconvénients

    - Horrible IT department, worse after it was contracted out to IBM. Example, our department had to install some extra security software before being able to work on a client's projects according to our contract. It took over 4 months for me to get someone to spend 10 minutes to install the software, even the head of IT couldn't speed it up. I had to "steal" the install file to get the rest of the group going with it too. The project manager never go it going at all. During that time, we broke the rules of the contract to work on the project since we had no other options. - Bad office layout. Before the pandemic, the office was redesigned to consolidate 3 building floors into one floor. Managers lost offices and had to move to tiny work areas, not even cubicles. The new areas were too small to account for social distancing. This did not deter them and they went ahead with the design. In the move, they somehow lost all my personal equipment - Hire drafters with no drafting background. In the pipeline group, I worked with a former nail salon owner, a graphic designer, a person fresh out of school that couldn't catch on to it after years of training, and an interior designer. - Surveyors do not follow standards & alter data. On one project, I found points were being moved miles away from where they were shot in. They also did a lot of "office" surveying, adding data without getting it from the field. They refused to survey the designated swath and would not locate features that crossed the pipeline.
