J'ai travaillé chez Atkins à temps plein moins d'un an
Avantages
Interesting work, decent pay and benefits (for those just starting out, not great for people with mortgage/families - starts at $14/hr), lots of parking available, nice facility, good way to get your foot in the door for State Employment (they are contracted by the State of NC for Statewide Transportation Operations Center), diverse workforce, immediate supervisors were knowledgable and good leaders for the most part.
Inconvénients
Very poor upper management (backstabbing is abundant), nepotism, favoritism, unfair promotions and raises given, upper management meddles with operations and takes all the credit for what Operators do, long hours (working 12 hour overnight shifts during emergencies/inclement weather), nitpicky supervisors (you aren't allowed to use your cell phone 'on the floor'). We'd refer to their hallway of offices as "the snake pit", if that tells you anything...
