Lots of responsibility Exposure to senior leadership Amazing growth curve - learned how to solve problems, pull and analyze data, manage people
Inconvénients
Startups require commitment and hours - it's not a 9-5 so if you're not ready to dedicate yourself, it's not going to be for you

Avantages
To start off the position was fully remote but we did have a virtual office and all my cohorts, trainers and managers were super awesome people!! Warm leads were nice and decent base pay plus commission was great and the only sales model worth working in!
Inconvénients
Overcoming objections is one thing but having to defend the reputation of your employer is another! Because of past lawsuits and name changes 1 out of 5 potential clients were aware of these and were all very skeptical because of them! So it was rough sometimes sales wise.

Avantages
Fellow engineers are smart and helpful but it's sad to see so much talent wasted on poor upper management whims.
Inconvénients
Priorities change with the wind or whenever upper management wants to feel like they're doing something. Work/life balance is touted as important, but then "high priority" initiatives mean cutting vacation short or being left behind. One of the new core values that leadership is so proud of - Do More With Less - is a pathetic cover for cutting raises, bonuses and shares. Pulse surveys are only used to make management feel like they are doing a good job, not for actually listening to employee problems. You will not become a better developer here - only a better Angi employee by wasting your time learning how to program in their specific set ups. "Culture" means drinking the cool aid and buying Angi merch or using their new zoom background images while being excited that your team was congratulated in a useless meeting instead of being given a raise. Disorganization at every level and big decisions are made with no plan for implementing them.
