Employé actuel - Vice President of Product Marketingà Boston, MA

Avantages
Great team members plus solid strategy positioned for continued success. Great collaboration between different business disciplines (corporate supporting different product teams). Greatly strengthened and built up past acquisitions - Telerik and Ipswitch - with promising investments in organic development that will drive more value for a committed customer and community base. It's also worth noting that our employee engagement scores have improved dramatically based on the executive team's management of the COVID crisis.
Inconvénients
Unfortunate that blame for changes at Chef fell on Progress as Chef had to be right-sized based on org structure built for extreme growth. Having significant experience, I'm heartened by knowing that what seems like painful change usually leads to a better situation both for individuals and organizations. I am also encouraged by working with many of the Chef team members post-acquisition. They are truly committed and energized in their commitment to customers. Also, been included in numerous customer conversations that ended on an extremely upbeat note. I would highly recommend Progress to anyone.
Je travaille chez Progress à temps plein depuis plus de 3 ans
Avantages
Work is an extension of daily life, not the complete total.
Support offered for successfully working during the pandemic.
Periodic check ins from C-suite staff for virtual lunches, monthly and quarterly all hands meetings, and an open-door policy of listening to individuals.
Inconvénients
Siloed product lines means people in the same office may not know each other. This limits the feeling of inclusiveness if you spend a lot of time in the office.
