Inconvénients
I'll cut to the chase- It's a very challenging work environment and you'll be expected to know everything about your area very fast. - Terrible middle management with no vision and no real plan. - There is no onboarding at Toro. I was expected to "network and figure it out" quickly. I was thrown into big key decisions and plans within weeks. - Was hired as hybrid but quickly frowned upon if you are not in the office "most days" - Very disconnected teams within this organization and often leads to stalled progress - Expected to know all products in the division; not just my products. - No real authority and held to an unrealistic standard. - Products are way overpriced. It will be very hard to maintain business without major changes. - Competitors are way ahead in certain areas and Toro is in the dark ages. - Toro is very hard to do business with. The processes are insanely slow, tedious and not automated. - Multiple layers of approval do get anything done. (refer back to my no real authority bullet) - Lots of restructuring and people leaving during my time at Toro.
