Avantages

Uncapped bonus (requires hard work, but well rewarded), Great team spirit (the amount of banter that goes on is brilliant), You won't get better working hours (Mon-Thur 8.30-5, Fri 8.30-2)

Inconvénients

Career development and promotion limited. Opportunities are their but they are limited but with the continued growth of the business I predict that to change.

Remember in this environment morale is everything. Don't lose track of valuing and motivating your team members. Keep up the good work

    J'ai travaillé chez Yell en Contrat Permanent (Pendant plus de 10 ans)

    Avantages

    Some of best sales training you'll get, some great people, plus there is still a bit of kudos is having worked for an industry giant.

    Inconvénients

    Yell has missed so many opportunities over the years and as a result is no longer the business if used to be. Too late to market, continued investment in ageing products, lack of customer continuity, poor leadership etc etc.

    As a sales person, your sales arguments started to fall on more informed ears as client's investments became more spread across other media owners due to decreasing ROI.

    Targets have always been aggressive and needed both talent and hard work to hit. I don't suppose that's changed since I was there and whilst I appreciate the business has re-aligned itself, culturally, it is what it is. What it isn't is a true digital agency, simply because it's too big and too fast paced to offer a bespoke service.

    Can't say what advice to give to the latest management group other than listen to what your troops on the ground are telling you and act accordingly.

    Fantastic earning potential via the bonus structure.
    Enjoyable work environment with supportive management.
    Every opportunity to learn and develop be that for progression, product knowledge or a greater understanding of the digital market place.
    Overall the company is going from strength to strength and it's an exciting time to be apart of it.

    Inconvénients

    Very target driven environment with the targets fluctuating month on month , be ready to put in extra hours if you want to earn big.
