Avantages
Unlike many other logistics companies, this company offers it’s employees continued training and resources to assist them with their positions. The logistics industry is known for a lack of job security, as many of the positions are sales roles and meeting goals can be difficult; but RWI has their company organized in a manor that gives their employees everything they need to be successful and they give them time to do it. They also have a variety of positions within the company outside of sales roles; their operations team plays a much larger role than I had seen at other logistics companies, and I believe that factor helps their entire staff work in a much better environment than you will see in at other companies. The people I worked with there were all fantastic as well. Great experience and great people.
Inconvénients
The logistics industry itself is often a difficult industry to work within, nothing against this company - as they do as good of a job at mitigating that difficulty for their employees as is possible - but just understand the field of work you are entering if you chose to work in logistics. I speak mainly of the soles positions; work as a freight broker requires a lot is dedication and hard work to build a book of business, and managing a successful book of business ai require even more.
