I was contacted a few days after submitting my resume. The initial screening was brief and a second interview was scheduled with the hiring manager. I was stood up for my second interview and was told the recruiter would reschedule. I waited to hear from the recruiter, and, after a day, I had to initiate contact with her. I finally met with the hiring manager and made it to the third round. My third interview was rescheduled twice due to weather.
When the day finally came for the third interview, I arrived 15 minutes early as instructed, and the recruiter was late and just arrived at the office during my interview time. Ultimately, I did not receive an offer, and was notified via email. When you advance that far along in the process, it is only customary to notify the person via phone. When I asked the recruiter for feedback, I did not receive a response.
Overall, I felt that the process was extremely unprofessional and unorganized. I only moved forward because I was very interested in the role and the company as well as eager to get back into the education industry. Had it been any other company, I would have removed myself from the process after being stood up.
