I got the initial interview through a recruiter which was an in-person interview. Questions were very basic and situational. That was followed by two more phone interviews that asked almost the EXACT same questions. That was followed by one more in-person interview which was again, consisted of basically the same questions.

The interview process was smooth and swift. It's just the fact that I got ghosted. They said they would notify me in a week if I got a second interview, and the following week, they said they hoped to have someone picked. It's been four weeks, and I have heard nothing. I even emailed them and still didn't receive a response.

I only made it through the initial phone screening. I was very excited since AMEX is known for great work life balance. My interviewer was a former EA who gleamed about flexibility within the company and the HR Team.

Emailed automatic rejection after not a peep for over a week after final interview. Such a crappy and impersonal experience
