The recruiter from a third-party company said I had to answer a bunch of questions first that was part of a Google form, and it took me over an hour to fill out as I wanted to be through. Then I had to wait weeks and weeks and weeks, over a month, for the hiring manager to be able to get to me. I was told there would be no coding challenge and that it was going to be conversational and that it would be mostly questions about Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The recruiter was completely wrong, and it was a coding challenge. I had to do a translation from a string to pig latin. If I had known this was coming up, I would have done more LeetCode challenges to get ready.

During my first round with Director Paul Ng, we discussed my past experiences for about an hour. To schedule the meeting, I used his Calendly link, which made it convenient for both of us. In the second round, I had a coding interview on coder pad in front of same person. The coding assignment was quite challenging and very hard, and I had to do it in front of the director. Despite managing to complete 60% of the task correctly, I received rejection news the following day. While doing coding in front of him, question was kind of difficult to understand and I ran out of time to finish it 100% which was only 1 hour.
