I interviewed for an insights role at BT for Ro, which is exactly what I do already in the same industry. The initial interview was not good. I was told it was an initial interview to go over my experience and meet the team the very first question the team asked me was how do I like to be managed? Red flag. They didn’t ask anything about my experience, which was directly related to role and said it was generic questions like this. I was then told I wasn’t experienced enough for this role, despite I was actually more qualified than some of the people in the team - so I think I dodged a bullet out of this one. The salary was also a lot lower than where it should be for this role versus your competitors. BT seems paid badly as a whole.
