Was internally referred. Received an email within a few days to set up a phone interview with the recruiter.
Phone Interview #1 with recruiter: Easy conversation, walked through my resume/background, expected questions asked like "Why Box?", then she told me more about the role and the team and it's structure as well as some more specific HR related items at Box. She talked about next steps in the process and asked me of available times for a 2nd call with the hiring manager. Really enjoyed my discussion with the recruiter as she was engaged in my answers and was easy to build rapport with.
Phone Interview #2 with hiring manager: Hiring manager seemed a bit rushed to start as she was late calling me due to another meeting running over. Walked through my resume and then she had some questions about that. Then the questions were more detailed around specific accounts (warrants, debt and stock) and experience with those accounts. Asked favorite account and messiest account had to clean up. Also questions around experience with monthly close process - what worked on, who you relied on most, timing of everything? There was some time to ask questions I had about the role and then I asked about next steps. She said I'd hear something sometime in the next 4 days. I heard on the 4th day via email from a general box email address that I was not a fit for the job.
