Entretien

uploaded CV on Careers Website followed by an invitation to complete a personality test. After completing it, a couple hours later I got emailed and asked to complete a digital interview asking 7 questions but you have the option to answer any six from the provided. Two days after the digital interview, I was asked to attend an interview with the manager and co-worker.

    hot trash, online personality questionnaire has extremely vague and contradicting statements. The online interview process is also bad. the whole process in the whole is fairly disconnected and no way relates to alot of what you can show.

    Was lengthy but clear and concise. There were a variety of online tests - logic and reasoning tests, mathematical, personality quiz as well as a 'digital interview' where you record your answers to several questions in relation to the role and commonwealth bank.

    I applied online, got a link for the assessment straightaway via email. Then, I was notified to complete a digital interview afterwards. I received a call for interview later on that day went to the interview and I was interviewed by two of the branch managers it was all about normanl and they were very friendly.

    The whole hiring process was a really length one- almost 3 months from initial application to Offer.

    Step 1- Online application- filled out an online form which asked for a lot of details, uploaded my Resume

    Step 2- Online Assessment- was supposed to undertake an online assessment, consisting of behavioural questions, some work scenarios, etc. Received an email to complete this the very next day

    Step 3- Interview booked- about 4 days after completing the assessment

    Step 4- Actual interview- after several follow-ups with the talent acquisition team, the interview was finally scheduled a month after.

    The Interviewer was warm and friendly, came out to greet me and was invited into their office. I was made aware of a 2nd interviewer who joined us via Skype chat.
    They introduced themselves, and briefly introduced CBA, explained how the interview will be conducted. They pulled up my application on their computer screens, and had my Resume propped up for the rest of the interview.
    The interview went for a little more than an hour, was more of a conversation then single-sided questioning.
    Their line of questioning was based on my Resume, they asked from every achievement I mentioned, every task I performed, etc.
    Was asked some behavioural questions, we did some role-play with different scenarios.
    Was given a chance to ask questions at the end.

    Step 5- Background checks- almost a month after the interview was conducted, I was asked to undertake some background checks which included criminal, education, employment checks and verifications

    Step 6- Offer- after 3 weeks of checks, and several follow-ups from my end, I was offered the job. Overall it took 3 months for the whole process.

    Applied online, and completed their online assessment. The next morning received a email for digital interview. Completed that and within a few hours, asked to do a group assessment centre. I was very happy and prepared. Next morning, received a personal email confirming the date and time for the interview. Disappointing, a few hours later, interview and vacancy was cancelled due to “business overlooked and don’t need anymore employees” therefore; the whole interview I prepared for was cancelled. Very very disappointed, why put up the job vacancy and last minute decide to cancel the whole job vacancy?
