    Entretien

    Terrific people; there is a lot of very thoughtful consideration going into the hiring process, and that simply can't be said for every SaaS or tech company. Everyone is respectful of an interviewee's time and availability, and it was very clear early on that ensuring a good fit is a high priority. The offer was competitive, I accepted, and I'm very pleased with my decision to join ContentSquare.

    Bcp d'entretiens, il y en a 7 au total (dont un case study et un test d'anglais) pour ne pas avoir de proposition. différent entretiens qui se sont passés de différente façon. Besoin de plusieurs relances pour avoir des retours sur les entretiens que l'avis soient positifs ou negatif

    3 long interviews, meeting with really nice and interesting people...
    Who forgot to call me back (it was holidays...) then forgot to give me an answer despite the 2 phone calls I had made.
    When I learned from an insider they had recruited someone else... I had already signed with an other company anyways.

    It's a pity I had a very good impression about this company which might think about spending less money on advertising automation (I keep on seeing their automated adds tracking me since the interviews...) and more on human process to keep a correct reputation.

    HR process and feedback must be improved.

    I know myself that recruitment can be really time consuming especially for small teams but forgetting about calling back a candidate looks unprofessional.

    1er entretien RH. 2ème entretien avec N+1 + collègues directs. 3ème entretien avec N+2.
    Entretiens classiques + une présentation à lors de la rencontre avec la N+1.

    Aucun processus professionnel.
    Je postule en ligne, et deux jours après je reçois un email d'un recruteur (Alexe) me demandant de choisir un créneau horaire. Quatre jours avant l'entretien, je reçois un email me demandant si je peux faire l'entretien le jour même, ayant des cours ce jour-là je ne peux accéder à la demande, mais je m'adapte et préviens que le lendemain se sera possible pour moi. Aucune réponse du recruteur, le jour J choisis pour l'entretien je me prépare quand même pareil aucun appel, j'envoie encore un 3e mail et c'est à ce moment, je reçois un désolé je n’ai pas pu vous répondre on a déjà trouvé. Manque de professionnalisme total

    Entretien

    I applied through an agency. The process took two days -the agency submitted my resume and I had a call scheduled with them the next day.

    It was very straightforward and friendly until the interviewer abruptly stopped me mid-sentence and said I was not a candidate because I didn't have 1 year of experience with Google AdWords. That expectation was not specified or even hinted anywhere in the job specs, so the company wasted my time by being unclear. More importantly, though, this sent the message that the company is not looking for diverse experience or ideas - just somebody to be a cog in the machine and mindlessly execute with no outside perspective or growth. Not a company I would want to work with anyways.

    My experience with content square was mixed. I enjoyed my conversations with the employees I spoke to. Unfortunately, after my presentation, they commented that I had not addressed certain things during it - things that I was unaware they wanted me to include. They got back to me quickly saying that I did not get the position, which I appreciate. However, I got no feedback despite asking them for some.

    Phone interview. Interviewer stated that young, single people with no children are given opportunities. After I mentioned I was married with children and not in my twenties, I was told they would let me know as they had other people to interview. I was told a week later that they found someone who matched the job description more closely. The job, however, is now being advertised on "Welcome to the Jungle," a website whose "mission is to bring closer 20-35 year-old talents and companies." How sad that companies discriminate due to age and marital status. It's their loss because they are missing out on intelligent, experienced, mature, stable, loyal talent.

    I had a phone call with the hiring manager. He asked about my experience with website UX. Next round would have been in interview at the office. The company is expanding their operations in America by opening up an office in NYC.

    I applied via linkedin early october and had my first interview 2 weeks later. The Exec. Assistant was really nice made me feel comfortable and I really bonded with her personality and work wise. I had a phone interview with the VP of HR and that also went well. Then I met with the CEO, that is when I felt a turn in the vibe. I was told that he was very outgoing, loves to please is employee and has a work hard play hard mentality. When I had my interview with him, he took 2 calls in the middle of me explaining something. Which would make me loose my train of thought. Also, he could not stop fidgeting, either looking away, playing with his phone. I felt like he did not want to interview me. I thought it was very unprofessional. I then had a 4th phone interview and I was schedule to speak with her and she missed our appointment. We then reschedule and she missed it again and called me much later. Which lasted about 10 min. How can you know someone in 10 min? She barely had questions ready for me.
    Then it took 3 follow up emails for me to receive a decision. They did not extand an offer to me due to "the cultural fit". I honestly take criticism very well. However, I do not think that it was appropriate to say since my background and experience has been in a same environment.
