    I was referred to the company and engaged with quickly. I think my process was less formal than what it typical, but good exposure to a variety of roles. From the point when I formally applied to offer I believe it was two weeks; again I don't believe a typical timeframe. Everyone I spoke to was positive about the company, the role and vertical as well as the territory.

    Virtual phone interviews with various levels of management. I knew 2 people in CSOD that advocated for me, so my process and previous exposure to the company probably helped me a bit more.

    Referred in by a friend, initial HR screen went well and spoke with hiring manager a couple of weeks later. That hour long conversation went so well that we spoke for another 2 hours later the same day and 90 minutes later that week (coaching for 2nd round with his boss). Good conversation in the second round, then radio silence for 4 weeks. When the hiring manager finally got back to me, we arranged to meet in person for next to final interviews. This again went well, and I like the company, but we were at 7+ weeks of this hiring process and I had other offers. I accepted one and moved on

    Hiring manager missed scheduled call. Second go at it, they were 10 minutes late and did not apologize for missing prior call or being late. After next steps were discussed, there was no follow up. I followed up and called a few times and recruiter sent an email with no explanation or feedback that they went with another candidate via email! So unprofessional!!

    There were several steps involved and the entire process took several months to complete but we had good conversations and I found the hiring manager to be very honest, very informative and realistic expectations were set. Be prepared and understand the product as much as you can prior to any interview with Cornerstone.

    Hiring manager made initial contact via LinkedIn. Had initial phone interview with HR, then a follow-up call with prospective manager. Several other calls followed including prospective counterparts and executive leadership. I was then flown to Santa Monica for a full day of in-person interviews with leadership from various, relevant departments around the company.

    I was referred into the company and contacted by the recruiter who asked some basic screening questions. Once it was determined I was a fit to move forward I was scheduled for a call with the hiring manager. The process up to this point was fairly smooth though there was a bit of rescheduling due travel schedules in sales management. I had an 1 hour and 15 minute call with the hiring manager most of which was the manager talking about their management style, the company, the products and the expansion of the team. I was then asked detailed questions about my sales, quota, deal size, experience in the industry - typical sales questions. I felt good about the call and was told the next step would be another call in which they would ask situational interview questions. I was told I would hear back the following week.....nothing. Second week went by nothing. I sent out a follow-up note and was told there were more people to interview and would be in touch...hmm not a good sign. I e-mailed back two weeks later and was told by the hiring manager that they had selected a candidate. As a referral I did not even get the courtesy of a face to face interview and I am from the industry! The end result of this is fine and part of the process. What irritates me is the lack of response to my calls and e-mails from the recruiter. The hiring manager took no initiative to follow-up or give an update. If I had not e-mailed I don't expect I would have heard back. There is common business etiquette and that is to be informative and responsive regardless if the person is in the running or not. Let's not waste each other's time. I would rather be told they have decided on other candidates and move than to be kept hanging for over a month.

    My other concern that would have come up should I have had a chance to move on is that the company is adding several sales positions. The territories are being cut and more sales people are being added to cover a smaller patch. In addition there are also Enterprise sales covering a similar patch. For some cities this does not make sense and brings up a concern for what real money can be earned. Something to dig into a bit more should you be interviewing.
