Tests d'algo sur tableau blanc. L'interviewer était relax et m'a guidé dans l'interview lorsque j'en avais besoin. Le langage utilisé était typescript pour un front en Angular. Rencontre ensuite avec le lead dev pour présenter la team et le projet.

I had 2 remote interviews and one full day of interviews on site. They paid for all my travel expenses and hotel stay. The interviews went really smoothly and on time. They were mostly algorithmic problems, one design question and I meat 2 managers with openings in their teams for 30 minutes.

I was contacted via LinkedIn by a recruiter. One Skype programming challenge followed by a 4 hour onsite interview. If you make it past that, you’ll have a single 45 minute phone call with an SVP. Entire process lasted 2 weeks before I had an offer. 4 hour onsite interview consisted of 2 one hour coding challenges, 1 design/architecture challenge, and 1 non technical interview with leads/managers. No NP complete or recursive algorithm question. Typical array/object manipulation questions. You’re expected to explain your algorithm’s time complexity. Overall I was very impressed with entire interview process.

1 Phone/Screen Sharing 4 Rounds of Onsite The recruitment team was super nice and probably the only silver lining in the entire process. The team was extremely rude so much I did want to walk out. I took up the issue with the co-ordinator during the break but seems like it backfired.The rest of the rounds were even more hostile where I clearly got the feeling that they ganged up against me once the recruiter voiced my concern.There was a small electronic gift which was given to me which I had left in the interview room during the break. When i come back, I see the gift was smashed on the ground trampled with feet.This is the height of nonsense and most unprofessional set of folks I have ever come across in my career.

Contacted by a recruiter at LinkedIn.Following by a Skype screen and a onsite at their office with 4 sections. It takes about one week to get the phone interview and another week to get the onsite. For the onsite, you must doing well for first two coding sections so that you get a chance for the following two sections (design and manager). After the 3rd section, I was told the manager section being skipped. I contact the recruiter one week after the interview knowing the interview was failed. Not really know the reason because recruiter don't get detail reasoning from the team.

A recruiter reached out to me, we did an initial phone screen, I was told I would do a interview on-site with a member of the Catalog team. I was told by the recruiter that the interview would consist of 4 parts: 2 coding sessions, a design/architecture session and a behavior/culture session. The team members who interviewed me were very nice, engaging, and were overall great and smart people. All in all the recruitment process was very interesting, and although I was not extended an offer, the recruiter was courteous enough to call me in person and detail what my shortcomings were. It stung a bit finding out that I failed the behavior/culture fit test but that is what I was told and I'll definitely need to work on that in the future.

Applied to a position from LinkedIn. A recruiter contacted me with some general questions. After a review of my CV Criteo organized 2 Skype interviews. During both Skype interviews you are given a not very complex algorithm based problem. Coding is done in an online editor without codecompletion. You have to tell the complexity of an algorithm. I was asked to think how to solve the same problem given a huge data input. I was asked some Java related questions (How hashmaps work, how does GC work) After that I promptly received an invitation for the onsite interviews (at Paris office). Criteo booked a flight and hotel 4 minutes away from the office. The onsite part consisted of 4 f2f interviews (with 1 or 2 employees) First 2 interviews were almost the same as Skype. You write code on whiteboard, discuss the complexity, improve the brute force solution, scale the solution for large inputs. 3rd interview was about system design. You have to discuss how you'd build the system to solve a given task, estimate the memory needed and how scale it. 4th interview is an informal talk with one of the senior tech managers, discussing your experience, interests and curiosity in technology. After 4 days I received an email describing each step of the process, telling how I performed and where I didn't do well. All in all I had a nice experience, everyone was friendly and no hidden catches in the progress. PS. you get a little present after the interview, also a nice gesture.

  • Onsite 4: Imagine you have a 2 weeks break from work, what will you read/do during your spare time, will you learn something new? How did you solve conflict situations at work?

I had a very positive experience interviewing at Criteo. People are extremely smart and nice. The interview questions are structured exactly the way it should be done - to figure out what the candidate knows and what the strengths are and not to torture candidates or to show off how smart the interviewer is. The process itself is pretty standard: phone screen with some basic coding test, then on-sight with algos, coding exercise and system design - standard stuff. The process itself is super smooth, the feedback on all stages is provided the next day. It took me a couple of days to schedule the phone screen, then a week to schedule the in-person interview and then I had an offer in 4 days after the interview.
