Online video interview. Single interview process, pay not discussed until end of meeting. All paperwork completed through lighthouse recruiting. Overall, staff is friendly, pay could be better. Would recommend for people with minimal experience, higher degrees, do not apply.

Had two interviews, took a while to hear back after the first. The first came a couple weeks after applying. First was a phone screening. Second interview was awkward and they seemed like they didn't even know what to ask me about so we just talked about my experience. The interviewers just seemed so stuck up and uninterested that it was really hard to shine even though i know i was a great fit. I didn't really expect to move forward because the vibes were overall just bad. Best part is, they weren't going to even get back to me. I sent a follow up email the day after and never had a response, then i sent another two weeks later and was told they moved on to other candidates. I was excited to interview at this company but overall i think i dodged a bullet - I am smart, curious, a hard worker, and graduated with honors, but i don't do well with snobs and would rather work in an open and encouraging environment where people can be themselves and work together. Adios, DEKA!

The process went quite smoothly and was taken by employees in the similar role. I was asked questions based on resume and course curriculum. Two interviewers asked questions while alternating between technical aspects and personality questions.

I had a phone screening with DEKA back in April of 2022. The recruiter was very nice, very friendly, and seemed to like my experience and honestly, I checked all the boxes based on the requirements on the job posting. Meaning that I was not a perfect candidate because, with all honesty that does not exist, I came very close to what they were looking for. The recruiter did tell me she was going to set up the interview with the lady who was doing the role temporarily for the following week. The following week I got the "we went with another candidate whose experience matched better" I was not going to leave a review, however today I saw DEKA reposting the same role. So that tells me either the person they chose did not come through or they never really found anyone and I was lied to because like a lot of companies out there, they were searching for the 100% fit. I have hired staff before in my previews role and therefore I know the perfect candidate does not exist. Our job is to find the person who fits close to it and also fits the culture. The HR person who was doing the role and I was supposed to interview with I guess failed to recognize that. That is very telling for a department and a company to be quite honest. So my advice, if you were to apply for this role and happen to read this, stay away. I honestly believe the company doesn't exactly know what they are looking for and A. it will be a waste of time for you and B. if selected for the role, you will probably find yourself in a disorganized mess.

I was interviewed by two HR members over the phone. I was very excited about this position when I got an interview offer. The first phone interview was rescheduled within an hour or two before it started. Noone called during the rescheduled interview, so I emailed and asked if I could reschedule again, I received a response 2 days later apologizing. No worries, I can do a third try. The third attempt at interviewing was with two HR employees, and I was asked why I was applying and why I was qualified. I had lots of applicable experience and was passionate about the field, and was told I would hear back for more interviews in a few days. Very exciting! However, multiple weeks passed, I emailed asking for updates, and even received rejections from other jobs at this company, but was ghosted about this position.

I applied online. About a month later I was contacted to have a short 1/2 hour long call with one of the managers. Two weeks after the call I received an offer

1st interview with HR: about 30 minutes about the position and getting an idea of my strengths and weaknesses. 2nd interview: about 45 minutes with the project team manager, more specifics about my background as well as personal goals 3rd interview: 2 hrs about technical projects, some technical questions, my interview was with 3 people

3 Interviews, first as an HR screen, second as an interview with engineering manager, 3rd panel interview w/ engineering team. There were no technical questions until interview 3, and they were minor. The HR screen I made my salary and vacation requirements known, was told they were in range. When I received the offer there was only 2 weeks of vacation (50% less than desired) and the salary was 20k under my stated minimum. When I countered, I was told they would get back to me then simply got ghosted. Within a month I had two offers for 1.5-2x the vacation time and 40% higher salary.

Starts with general questions about why choosing to work in Deka. And why do you want to work in NH? Technical question about OOP in C++ and Python. Machine learning questions on precision and recall. F1 score.

I had an interview set up but the interviewer did not show up. Sent a follow up email to see what happened or if they are going to reschedule another interview but have not heard back from them. Very unprofessional!!
