First there was an online screening and then a phone interview. The phone interview was very pleasant, and I enjoyed engaging in a conversation with the interviewer. Overall, not a stressful situation.

A web-based interview where you have to answer in the ways that Disney would find perfection - in other words, answer as if you’re a robot. You have to give
Them what they want in both the web interview and the phone interview, i.e sounding upbeat and willing.

Applicants must first submit a form that includes only their basic information, list of preferred roles, and work experience. This form is analyzed by an AI that will determine if the applicant will be allowed to move on to the next stage of the interview process-- it's crucial that you include specific "key words" (i.e. safety, childcare, team leadership) that are relevant to your preferred role. I suggest looking up the role descriptions provided on the DCP website and using that as a guide for the kinds of terms that might be relevant. If the AI determines you're likely to be a strong applicant, you might get an email saying that you've been approved to continue on to the second phase of the interview within 10-15 minutes. Otherwise, you'll be left at this phase on a sort of waiting list (sometimes referred to as "stuck in Applied") until selection decisions are made for the people who have already moved on. Generally, your chances of being released from the Applied stage will decrease over time as more positions are filled.

Once you've been released from the Applied phase, the second step is the web-based interview or WBI. It's a series of relatively straightforward questions about your behavior, positivity, work ethic, etc. You'll be asked to click whether you strongly disagree, disagree, are neural, agree, or strongly agree with a bunch of different statements. It's generally best to either indicate "strongly agree" or "strongly disagree" wherever possible, especially on the easy gimme questions. Like, if the statement is "I am always on time for work", this is where you definitely want to click "strongly agree" no matter what. Use the agree/disagree/neutral options only sparingly.

After the WBI, you'll immediately get a message that states whether or not you have been approved to the phone interview (PI) stage. You'll sign up for a time and an interviewer will call you. I found the PI to be very straightforward-- it's very easy to find the questions on youtube/google. I referred to a blog post I found online called "148 potential Disney College Program phone interview questions". I think 95% of the questions I was asked came directly from that list. There were maybe 1 or 2 about teamwork that I hadn't seen before, but they weren't difficult to answer. Look up the questions that are associated with the specific roles you want and take some time to prepare your answers before the interview. It should last only about 15-20 minutes. They might not ask you about all of the roles you listed on your application.

And then sit tight after the PI. They tend to release acceptances in "waves" about once or twice a week. If you had a very strong PI, you're generally likely to hear back sooner, but that's not a hard and fast thing. Similarly, I know a few people who really bombed the PI and heard back either on the same day or the next day that they were no longer in consideration. It might take a few "waves" before you receive notification of their decision either way.

    Entretien

Most of the questions focused on asking if I could handle the conditions of the program like moving somewhere new, living in a dorm, working long hours, and making new friends shortly. Then you just give evidence on why you can handle the program. The interviewer was extremely friendly! Overall a nice interview.

I submitted an online application. I was then asked to complete a web-based interview (mostly semantic scale answers), and then was offered an interview over-the-phone. The recruiter was cheery and made me feel very comfortable to speak with her - I think her name was Kasey.

Easy interview, lasted about 20 minute for the phone interview, they asked general questions regarding what you put on your application, plus a few hypothetical questions. Asked if you know how to swim (for lifeguard position) but not tested until arrival.

You submit a pretty thorough application. If you meet a set of criteria (I am assuming an algorithm determines it), you will be sent a link to complete a WBI (web based interview). If you answer the way Disney sees fit (once again, I am assuming an algorithm determines that), then they will send you and email to schedule a phone interview. I wish I could remember questions from my interview; I just remember focusing my answers so they were guest oriented.
