I had an initial call with the technical recruiter. After that there was an online code screening. I only completed half of it and didn't get a further interview. The online code challenge was frustrating because you couldn't move on to further steps with any failing tests from prior parts. I had an issue with my secondary (tie-breaker) sorting on the second part, where it was still very easy coding work. Since I was not used to working with the online IDE, and they don't really let you look anything up, I was pretty stuck. In real life with the internet or normal IDE that does type-checking, that would've been an easy fix to spot. But I was locked out of most of the test because of that. The recruiter was super nice, though, and encouraged me to apply again 6 months out.
