I responded to an online posting on the parent company's (Millward Brown's website) by filling out the online application, submitting my resume, and submitting a cover letter. I was contacted about 3-4 days afterward by a HR generalist/contract recruiter who briefly discussed the position with me, my experience, and my goals. He then invited me to come to an on-site interview to meet with him and two others. I went through the first phase of interviews and was unphased, as I thought the interviews went well and the people were very cordial and conversational. About 3 days later the HR contact contacted me and invited me to a second round of interviews with 3 more individuals in the company. The second round, like the first, was cordial and conversational, and it was easy to tell from the interview that DL would be a positive, collegial environment to work in, which was a big seller for me. There were no behavioral interview questions, just resume walk-throughs, experience reflections, and goal statements. The grand total was a brief phone interview and six individual interviews.
