Applied through on campus recruiting, got first round on campus interview, then flew to have second round interview in office. All questions were behavioral/about your resume. Talking with other interviewees, I think it was a consensus that the first round interview was actually more difficult and more serious while the second round superday interviews were more laid-back. So if you get an in-office interview, know that your chances are pretty good!

    Was selected for a first round interview, the interviewer insisted that the process be more like a conversation than a behavioral interview. As such, the interview turned about to be a more about s discussion of myself than my resume. Was selected for a second round interview which consisted of a pre-interview dinner and a superday the following the day. The dinner was essentially a chance for the applicants to get to know the firm better and the superday was excellent. Interviewed by a senior manager and a partner both of whom were incredibly friendly and their questions were fairly simple, "Why audit," "tell me about a time when.." and etc. Left after a lunch with a new staffer. Excellent interview process and everyone at the firm helped you feel welcomed.

    Applied through University website, was informed I was chosen for a first round interview. Invited to attend an EY Dinner with all other interviewees and professionals from the firm. The next day, a greeter led us to the half hour long interview. My interviewer told me a little about himself and then asked the same of me. The interview was mostly conversational, but he asked me about a few things on my resume and my class load. Was called back for a second round in the city.

    At Super Day, 16 potential interns and full-timers were put into a room where we introduced ourselves. We were then shown a PowerPoint and told a little more about the company. After, some of us were told to first stay in the room for a Panel, consisting of a few new hires, who were there to answer any questions and give us advice. Others went straight to the two half hour interviews, then we switched. Those were pretty straight forward. Both the senior manager and partner who interviewed me were really nice. The first asked me questions- like how I handle multi-tasking, what the most recent thing I was really proud of was and something I've worked on or done that was frustrating and other similar ones. Other questions were resume based- then we just chatted and she pretty much told me I passed all of the questions she had.The partner I interviewed with asked more resume based questions, especially about the older things on my resume. He asked about a few competitions I did 2 and 4 years ago, which I wasn't expecting. The mood was really relaxed and casual though and we joked a bit. We related on tennis and some other interests as well. Overall, really relaxed interviews that went by smoothly and quickly. No curve balls were thrown, perhaps because of Vision 2020.

    Did not ask any technical or behavior question. Interviewer just went through my CV and ask me to ask him questions. The entire process is very conversational. Get a feeling that the interviewer is just testing the interviewee's interpersonal skill instead of technical skill. I suggest applicants should be prepared to ask some questions that shows you have done some research to the firm.

    Two rounds interviews. The first was on campus and the second one was on site. There were both pre night event before two interviews for candidate to meet with companies staff or probably interviewers. I Interviewed with three people during the second round interview, manager, senior manager and partner that lasted half of the day. One interviewer asked a lot of behavioral questions while the other two were more conversational.

    3 Interviews, one on campus and two on site. All generic interview questions, nothing too tough. They appreciate questions that show you did your research. Last two interviews were with a manager and partner.

    Looking forward to my second interview, my interviewer is really friendly, the interview is mostly behavioral interview section. I was asked to come in for second interview on Monday morning, I was interviewed last Friday.

    The interview consisted of multiple behavioral based questions. My interviewers were so nice and really cared about making me feel comfortable. The interview process consisted of 2 on-campus interviews and two office-visit interviews.

    I applied through my college career website. Throughout the semester I met the recruiter and many EY professionals, so by the time I was invited for the first round in-campus interview, they knew who I was, and I knew who they were. I had a 30min interview with a Manager, who asked me the typical behavioral questions about teamwork and leadership. Then I was invited for second round interviews at the firm. I interviewed with 2 professionals for 30 minutes and then played a game of trivia. The interviews were very conversational, absolutely no behavioral or technical questions. But that mean you have to be able to keep a conversation going. So think of questions/topics to talk about.

    There's no negotiation, they just tell you your hours and your salary. Its pretty high for an intern though, so no negotiation was necessary.

    I got into it as part of the on campus recruiting so its pretty much the same I would think for any other company. Since my school was a target school the interview itself wasn't all that tough. All you really have to do is have a decent resume and an academic track record that shows you are going to get all your accounting credits done before graduation and you are pretty much in. Of course this is assuming that you are articulate, polite, and present yourself as a professional young adult. First round involved handing in our resume at the college career fair, then they invited about 100 of us to a get together. Some of us are then called for an informal interview that involved dinner with a partner and some of their other practices. Those of us called back were called into the office where we were interviewed with other people in management. I got another partner and two senior managers. Then you just wait and they will inform you if you got in.
