J'ai passé un entretien chez EY (Manchester, Angleterre)
Entretien
Screening video call was detailed but the person interviewing wrote everything down meaning it wasn't conversational, would have been better to record or transcribe the call. The questions were topical to the role but it wasn't the right person to be asking them if they need to write down all answers.

Really good. Strong panel who challenged me, just not enough to make me think it was the worth the move to London from Spain. I liked the office too, people seemed happy. Just not for me

The overall interview experience was disappointing and lacked professionalism.
During the L1 interview, the HR team was unable to arrange a panel on time, resulting in a delay of about 15 minutes before the panel joined. The questions asked were quite basic and did not reflect adequate preparation, especially for a Product Manager role. Questions such as “What is a backlog?” and “How do you resolve conflict?” seemed too elementary for the position. Additionally, the panel did not introduce themselves and began questioning immediately. It was also concerning that the panel kept their cameras off while expecting the candidate to keep theirs on.
For the L2 round, there was noticeable improvement. The HR team ensured the panel was arranged properly, and the questions were more relevant. However, it felt at times that the focus shifted towards showcasing the interviewer’s expertise rather than assessing the candidate effectively.
Overall, considering the reputation of EY, I expected a more structured and professional interview process. Another concern was the HR’s demeanor, which at times came across as rude and inefficient.
