Got invited to a teams call with HR after doing a cognitive & behavioural assessment. The call seemed pleasant, standard question, but I could tell that the HR lady had already written me off from the start. Started in German, after a couple of minutes asked if I wanted to switch to English. I accepted, and apparently this means I cannot speak German. They also clearly wanted to hear the usual "aligned with the mission and the vision of the company", got super defensive when I mentioned remote work (which is stated on their website!) and mentioned the apparent lack of presentation effort on my part (I was on holiday on the other side of the planet). Stark contrast with other interviews I have made for big 4, will not reapply
