Interviewed internally for this position years ago to covert from temp to perm. There was a group of 6 of us or so. It was a complete sham. The manager played favorites and hired someone the least effective person with less direct position experience. Hope they've gotten better.

Panel styled interview with the managers of the department. The questions were behavior and competency based, but broad enough to make it fair to varying degree of experience. Everyone was friendly, exhibited active listening, and were straightforward.
