The process was dry, and did not move past the initial screening call. The recruiter could not clearly answer my questions about the company plan to handle the recession, and boasted the current company evaluation, and repeated the word "growth" an uncomfortable amount of times. There was a lot of ambiguity about the role itself.
The recruiter gave me the "high-level" pitch (as to be expected) but never asked me any questions about myself (I had to initiate), nor did they ask me any questions about my portfolio. The first of a few red flags.

People their seems nice, but just turned down on me. Didn't get too much time to talk with them. They also provided me some feedback what I felt like which is great. The respond were really quick.

The company never respects their candidate
I was interview at Fetch Rewards on Oct last year(2021), but unfortunately I failed on Head of Design round. They told me that they selected another candidate. At the beginning of this year(2022), I received email from their HR saying that they wanted to schedule the interview with me again. He explained that the reason why they didn’t choose me was because that was not a proper time, but they were still impressed by my potential and would like to talk more about it. So I accepted their 5 hours on-site interview to finish portfolio review, whiteboard challenge, devs meeting, vp of product meeting and then came to the final round to meet with hiring manager. But the hm told me that they didn’t have any openings currently and they maybe would open new positions after 4-6 months? I was like,, WTH??? What is the point that I finished interview with them? What is the point that I suffered all those rounds to approach the final but was fooled at the end? I don’t see any respect from this company. What they are doing is playing with the candidate that has enthusiasm towards their industry. The only thing I can do for this moment is block this company forever and hope those candidates who apply for this company no matter what positions are just stand by to take a look at what I have been through.
