The interview went for two rounds. First round was with HR and answering general questions. Second round interview was with the hiring manager. Both interviews were 30 minutes long and comprised of questions about my work experience.

I applied online and had an initial interview with HR that was professional and friendly. The HR person confirmed I had passed to the next stage and explicitly promised to send an assignment. That never happened. After following up with no response, I received an automated rejection email stating Freestar would not be moving forward with my application. Clear communication and follow-through are basic professional courtesies. Being told I was advancing, then ghosted and auto-rejected, left a poor impression of the hiring process and the company.
