Applied myself to a listing found on a job board. I was contacted a few weeks later, spoke on the phone, and then had two interviews within about a week. The HR contact was fantastic, very helpful and thorough. But the first interview was disjointed. One of the interviewers was unable to make it, and their replacement was unorganized, unplanned, and unprofessional. The second interview with another team went very well. Supposedly they scrapped the project for the position. But overall everyone was very warm, welcoming, and friendly. None of the questions were tricky, or cliche interview types. But everyone seemed to have their own agenda that was completely different than anyone else, as if each person wanted this job to cater to them and not another. That situation was also expressed by HR, and it sounds like the problem was internal with their future project.
