Had an initial call with two different recruiters to discuss which groups were interested. Very unorganized as neither knew I had spoken to the other. Then a phone interview with members of the group. Asked some brainteasers and some strategy/consulting-type questions, but pretty brief. Heard back from a recruiter the next day about continued interest and was scheduled to fly to Mountain View the next week.
The interview process was straightforward and professional. It began with a recruiter screening focused on my background, interest in the Business Analyst role, and general fit. The conversation then moved into my analytical experience, communication style, and how I approach ambiguous business problems.
Interview process is dumb. Honestly not worth the hype. Was done over the phone and the interviewer wasn’t even that friendly. I’m sure it’s a great fit for some people but I need something with more of a focused vision.
