I found out about the job through a headhunter. I went into the office for an interview and met with the hiring manager and the office manager in a large, open room with all of the company's products on display. I was given a temp-to-perm offer a couple of days later, and started within the week. After about 2 months, I was transitioned over to permanent.

I was called and asked to come in for an interview no phone screen necessary. So that was Nice. The person in the position left suddenly and I got the impression throughout the entire process that there was a lot of desperation to get someone in within a matter of days not even a week if possible ( via phone and interview). To further prep beyond the job description I had read on monster I did a Google search. The online reviews and the web presence had me understanding the environment. After all, I have a lot of experience with companies like this. As expected the Women were very capable and friendly. I ended up meeting with several people in HR was very considerate about it. I met the owner too. Not sure why he is so involved with marketing because he struggles with a basic understanding of it. I liked his transparency and being able to be frank with him! I could tell right away that people in management positions had educated him on various aspects of marketing including digital marketing so he got the overview but that's where the knowledge stops. He seemed very tightfisted with money asking if I could do The work of 3 1/2 people he did not understand that email marketing social media website development S EO blogging and trade show event management Can all be jobs on their own while some can be combined he did not understand even a little that some of these are very different in important skill sets. He is looking for someone who is kind of desperate for a job and certainly willing to jump when he says to jump.

  • The only person to ask me standard interview questions was someone brought in impromptu. The questions were tell me about yourself, what interested you in the position and what do you have that other candidates don't have.
