Party was late to the call. One of them left halfway through with no explanation. Interview questions seemed off the cuff and irrelevant to my experience and the job listing.

Just to warn you - Skip, don't waste your time.

I got this job lead from a recruiter who setup day/time to meet Meghan Magid & Dario Soto.

After preparing, do company/market research, dressing up, parking my car in downtown LA, interviewing with them, I was told I was overqualifed. What? You knew my qualifications before we met because you had my resume/cv. Then why waste my time?

    Questions d'entretien d'embauche

    • Or you didn't review my resume, wasn't prepared, disorganized?

They are clowns, company is a joke. They don't respect your time.

Again, don't waste your time.   Répondre à cette question

I applied through glass door.. The process took a more than a month.. Initially I have received a call from HR after the initial screen they have scheduled a face to face interview the very next day.. Totally 4 ppl took the interview one after the other and they have informed that HR will get back to you.. After one week received a call from HR and one more round of interview was scheduled with onsite manager.. The very next day HR informed that position went on hold and will get back.. After two weeks again HR has called and said that there will be one more round of interview with different onsite manager for different project .. And after three days they have informed that interview was not cleared..

I had a phone screen with the recruiter, followed by a 90-minute segmented interview with the hiring manager, a would-be coworker, and the Head of PR.

In general, the process was pretty normal and fair. However, the recruiting department prefers to cold call you rather than emailing, which can be problematic when you're job searching while holding a job (pretty common).

The offer and any aspects of it were non-negotiable (at least in my case), and when I asked for a rundown of the benefits to be emailed over to me, I was told by the recruiter that there wasn't a written version to share with me, which was a red flag for me, if for no other reason that there were consistent flexibility and enablement issues with the recruiter.

Because I had hesitations about company culture and the business model, the recruiter set up time for me to speak with a would-be coworker, who was very gracious and thoughtful in answering my questions. This particular person walked me through the direct-sell / MLM culture as she perceived it, and having been there for over 10 years, she did admit to having drank the Kool-Aid over time, but urged me to sit with my decision-making and make the best decision for me. I appreciated my interactions with her and the hiring manager very much as they were enthusiastic and warm.

Hello Everyone out there!! Just want to share the overall interview experience and recruitment process of Herbalife , thus alarming you the nasty games they play each time they create or post a job position. Okay so, I was contacted by one of the recruiters or HRs for a job they posted all over the internet. It was for the location Winston-Salem, USA.I found the JD comfortable and we had expected salary discussion with all the benefits that comes along with it over email. Once all the preliminary talks are done via email he scheduled an interview (Technical Round) with the manager/tech lead of the project. It was skype interview and was lasted about an hour or so. It was going really well and I was pretty much sure he was impressed with my answers by his visual expressions and words. Anyway, at the end he was also like I'll soon be joining his team. Anyway after a day or so , I asked the HR who had my interview scheduled about the result of technical round. And, he promptly responded to my email saying it (the interview) went pretty well as per the feedback he received from the manager and he would get back to me shortly. That was the exact response from my side. Okay , I was waiting to hear from him soon. Then after 3 days again I went on asking him that when is the next process going to start. And, again the same answer. I waited for few days for him to get back to me. But no. Neither did I get a call nor an email. Anyway, I was again following up with him and again same answer. Playing the same trick for the next 2 /3 weeks , he stopped replying my email. I mean Come on. You are recruiting for your organization. You have 100% right to reject a candidate but please play nice. There are some ethics on basis of which IT works on. If you're evaluating others profile tell me that too or reject me. You have no right to raise a false hope for a candidate after having their technical round done. And, what did you guys mean by saying "It went well and we're going to get back to you shortly". I mean seriously! Have you scheduled the interview just that your manager could practice his interview skill and fill that on his goal sheet as a managerial goal?? Even in that case also, you could have reject the candidate. Stop playing such dirty tricks.

    Entretien de Product Manager

Very lengthy interview process. First interview was 3 hours with 3 people. 2nd interview was again 3 hours with 3 people. In the beginning HR was very responsive with emails and phone calls. After the second interview, I was GHOSTED. No return emails, no phone calls....nothing. The entire process was very unorganized. Interviewers running into the conference room because they were "unaware" they had to interview today or calling in from home. Nothing is more unsettling than sitting in a conference room at a company you potentially want to work for and having to conduct an interview over the phone. Every person I interviewed with asked me the SAME questions. Very disorganized company with too many people involved in the process.

    Entretien de Senior .NET Developer

    Entretien dificile

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien à Herbalife (Torrance, CA (États-Unis)) en août 2018.

Phone screen went very well but the Hiring Manager is missing the point and not looking at the candidate holistically. We spoke for over an hour and we clicked very well. I nailed every question and am most certainly qualified to do the job, even qualified to do his job!
However, I was told the next day that I didn’t qualify because I lacked 1% of 110% with no eCommerce experience and was up front about that on the phone call and it was missing from my resume because I refuse to overstate my experience or lie to secure a job.
I have over 27 years doing software development and determined this manager clearly misses the point of what a qualified person brings to the team, even missing one shred of technology. Instead he's looking for someone with 110% of the required skills when the right person can get up to speed with any technology in short time, especially eCommerce which is not rocket science!
So he'll spend months trying to fill this role instead of filling it immediately with someone that can make them shine.
Their loss and I’ve come to realize this is very common in the LA area with perfectionists seeking perfectionists...

Phone interview went well. In person was excellent. They have the standard corp benefits along with free parking and holiday shut down. Only downfall is the pay-scale is so low and you need to add $200 a month for medical plus $2,000 deductible for a single person. Would have denied offer.
