3 hiring managers conduct a phone interview, they quickly introduce themselves and stated that the interview consists only 4 questions, then the interview begin. At the end they let me ask questions about the position.
It is the 4th call of today that taxpayers are receiving an error message when filing tax with a popular tax filing application. They were told to contact IRS to resolve outstanding tax payment from last year, however all of them have clear record. What would you do?
After calculating the outstanding tax payment, you found there is a big difference. You put the call on hold and asked for help from the supervisor, he pointed out you made a mistake in the calculation, how do you respond? And, what would you say when you get back to the caller?

Short, standardized an with no problems. It's a long process but if you get in its worth it since you enter the federal workforce where you will be able to grow and learn as a professinal

What has been a difficult experience with a client?
No interview for this position. I was just called with a job offer and told to come in to pick up my equipment. This was during covid, so it may have been different.

Very Easy. No interview.
I applied online. Attended the hiring event. They selected 200 people. Sent us and email and we had to answer questions within the email. Wait for a tentative offer email. Accept the offer. Wait for someone to call you and do your fingerprints and take a pic for your badge. After that process i had to wait for a firm offer and that offer let you know your pay and schedule.
