Questions d'entretien chez IRS

The interview process was ok. It was a bit slow. Upon the interview, I was asked many questions that made me feel uncomfortable. The pay offer was mediocre. I would prefer to work somewhere else. The IRS is great and all. But I will have to pass.

Very slow, I do not understand why they are taking so long to respond if they need immediate hire. I am still in the process to get hire. I hope will be hired for this position

The interview process began with a phone call to schedule an interview, then a link is provided for the interview. I was told this was the only interview I would be subjected to. During the interview, it is optional to turn on camera or leave off as the interviewers will read a series of questions and take notes on the answers I provided. Once interview is completed, you may ask questions. There is no information of next steps, when the hiring date is expected nor any details as to what happens after. The interview seemed like a mock training interview for the IRS staff to practice on those applying. It was very impersonal and seemed like the interviewers had no interest in process or the candidates.

Straightforward and to the point. Tri-panel interview team were very respectful and courteous. An hour long interview. Very comfortable setting and asked realistic questions. Made you feel welcomed. Were not judgmental.

I went to the IRS in-person hiring event. It was a really simple process of registering and fingerprinting. No actual interview questions were asked. The whole process took about three hours.

It was a quick interview process. The interview was probably the fastest part of the application process. It was not a stressful environment at all. Everyone I met was professional and helpful.

Standard fed/gov interview. Use the STAR method to help you answer the questions. I remember them being situational and revolved around ethics, time management, and etc. The hiring process took forever because of delays

No interview at all. I did an assessment on customer service and detail skills. My resume made it to highly qualified. I applied and got referred to the hiring manager back in November 2022. I received my tentative job offer in January and took my fingerprinting the beginning of February. I received my final job offer at the end of February and my E-Qip forms. I start next week. Process was long, but worth it.

It was very fluent and organized process. There were a bunch of us and while there were different stages of interviews and in groups, everything just had a flow. It felt very efficient.

It was a single interview with three interviewers, each taking turns to ask questions. The questions are pretty standard and focuses on the job and experience you bring to the table.
