Very lengthy process with technically four steps, two pre-screenings and two in person. It's fun if you really want this job, but a little anxiety inducing to wait for an answer.

the interview process was in three parts - 1 set of recorded videos, and two live interviews. very comfortable and easy. good questions and explanations of the company’s values. it was helpful to have the video interviews first, and felt like a more efficient use of time than in other cases.

interview was simple and easy with some role playing involved. I was scheduled for 1 interview over the phone then scheduled for another interview over the phone. I had to read and watch videos about the program. the training was 6 days after being hired for hours nine in the morning to six in the evening.

The interview process was two stages. First you do a virtual interview where you record yourself answering their questions. After that you do a zoom interview with one of the supervisors. Most of the questions are based around your love for books. They really want to see that you're passionate about reading, and that books mean a lot to you. The interviewer will also cover specific situations that might arise in an online classroom setting and will discuss how you should handle them. My interviewer was really nice and understanding. We laughed a couple times and kept a light mood throughout. After they interview is over, they will contact you via phone to offer you the job.

Interview process went well. They want to help you to succeed in the role. They share that training is extensive. The process went smooth. They do not ask any trick questions.

There are many steps. You have to go through some hoops before getting to the actual interview. It does feel like a bit much for a summer job. 1) I read a required essay about reading which was written by the founder. I submitted an online application with short answers to some question prompts and my resume. 2) I recorded short video answers to 3 questions. There was only a short time to prepare for each question. Each video response was recorded in one take. 3) The online live interview was scheduled via an online appointment scheduling system. There's a mandatory informational video to watch before the interview. The 45-minute interview was conducted via Zoom. The interviewer was cordial and kind, and conducted the interview in an conversational style. It felt like the interviewer was looking for the "right" answer. Basically your answers should match the institute's teaching style. There is also some time to ask questions about the job. The questions were slightly difficult because they were often vague. "Our teaching/class style is x, how does that relate to you/what do you think about that?"

I had 2 phone interviews. The first was around an hour, you have to do about an hour of prep before. Very friendly interviewer, questions seemed directed at testing conversational skills. Be prepared for a role play sales call and how you would deal with a uncertain customer. Very focused on the fact that the work from home position is isolating and wanting to know how I would cope with that. The second was to offer the job and go over any questions.

I had a video interview that was easy enough if you did the reading beforehand to understand their values. Then I had 2 zoom interviews with a Lead Teacher who was really lovely to interview with. I also had an online survey to complete before accepting my offer which I thought was interesting -- It was asking me if I wanted the job even though I had already finished 2 interviews with them??

I applied online through the Company’s applicant tracking system (Paycom). After submitting basic information, I was directed to another link to submit speed test information. I provided all of the requested information, but never heard back from the company whatsoever.

The hiring manager was very focused on speaking about himself and his experiences. This offers a good insight into what working with the manager would be like. However, it was very relaxed with no trick questions.
