Entretien

The process was short and sweet. I was referred by former colleague about a new position, and I was very excited about the prospect. I was very familiar with the platform already so it may have made the interviews a little easier.

I had several video, telephone and in-person interviews with (soon to be) colleagues and several VP's. The interviewers were great, down to earth, and very happy about the company which was very encouraging.

    The interview and hiring process was quick and easy. I was fairly far along in the interview process with two other companies and when I expressed my interest and desire to move quickly, everyone at Jive responded. Each person I spoke to was energetic and helpful in getting the next steps completed. I was very impressed with everyone I met and spoke to at Jive and it was one of the key factors in my decision to join the company.

    I was able to negotiate a signing bonus that matched another offer I had received.

    The process took a little bit more than a mont. I applied via Linkedin and quickly received a call from the recruiter. I had a couple of face 2 face interview with the hiring manager and a director and at the end they asked me to prepare a 20min presentation. I had a great time with Jive, very good attitude from anyone I met and it is a shame I didn't get the offer.

    I was referred by a former colleague who joined Jive a year ago. I sent in my resume and then went through three interviews: One initial phone interview, one personal interview with my new boss and then one final phone interview with the VP. The entire process incl. Jive's review of my resume and scheduling of interviews took about four weeks.

    Hiring itself went very smoothly, I got an offer which I accepted and then in less than two weeks all paperwork was taken care of. I was impressed by how well people at Jive have their hiring process under control, no follow-up on anything was ever needed, everything got taken care of right away.

    The interviews were very friendly, everyone I talked to was very open and honest. It never felt like I was being tested, but simply like they're really trying to find the best fit for the job, and they're pretty good at that. They know what they're looking for and they will let you know if it's not you, but I never felt any tension or stress.

    • Jive's way of doing things is very different from what I was used to, including their classic sales cycle. What was the hardest for me during the interview process was that sometimes I simply didn't really understand what they were getting at with their questions or what they even meant. The good news is, they know that they're doing things differently from most other companies and they didn't mind that I had to ask for clarification or more context on most occasions.   Répondre à cette question

    They knew where I came from and what I expected, the offer matched what I was looking for, so there really wasn't any negotiation.
