I went in for an interview in South Bend, Indiana. I was called and was scheduled to interview the very next day. That should have been my first red flag. I was supposed to be interviewing with someone I will not name. In any case, I showed up and was greeted near the reception desk by a man in a suit that said "Come on in here." pointing to a room. I assumed I was interviewing with him in that room. When I walked into the room, There was a room full of people and I was told to take a seat. The man that I was supposed to be interviewing with was not even there - another red flag. I was told he was "out in the field". I would say there was about 50 people in that room. This guy stood up in front of the room and started giving a presentation about Just Energy. He asked everyone what cell phone carrier they had to try to prove a point that not everyone had the same carrier and therefore energy would be the same way. He went on to basically say that they were going to be hiring people on the spot and that they would show up to work that same week. He promised big money saying that when he got his first paycheck, he could not believe it. I don't see how anyone could do a background check & check references withinn the same week - another red flag. I looked around the room and most of the people there were very casually dressed, a lot with tatoos and many seemed to have little education past high school. I felt very out of place. I waited until the presentation concluded and when they started calling people back for interviews, I left. That's right, I had a scheduled "interview" for what was actually a cattle call and a "wait in line for your turn to interview". It was the most unprofesssional interviewing experience I have ever encountered,

Called into a group interview, then told the job was door to door comission only sales. Most persons left. 2 persons were interviewing, no questions skills or expereince . No testing, no company information given. Just asked how much mony do I want to make.

Everyone dressed business casual but then there were all sorts of people , one guy looked homeless. So the interviewer comes in and gives a presentation hyping everyone up saying we could make big money After the presentation everyone was called in on a individual interview . So in my interview he THEN tells me it's door to door sales . Me not thinking about it just excited I got a job offer . Then when I got home I'm like what !! Door to door ?? Oh hell no . I told all my friends and family I have a job paying fifteen a hour . Smh how embarrassing . And not to mention it's commission based . They lied

Was interviewed by 3 managers who wanted to understand how I would fit and contribute to the position.Everybody was very supportive. They shared few details of the project I would work if selected which sounded interesting.

I did 2 phone interviews with two recruiters from Canada who barely spoke English. I got the gist that it was a very unprofessional environment just based off of how the recruiters barely knew what they were talking about. I'm a recruiter by training and they barely vetted me. Communication was spotty at best and they never let me know that I would not be moving forward in the process (totally fine by me).

I interviewed for a recruiter position and was asked about my job history. After salary was brought up, I declined the offer and another position was presented to me for a management role. The interviewer had me apply to that position on his computer right then and there. He said the job was mine and negotiated $1,000.00 less than the pay I had requested. I took the job because of being laid off from my other job.
