Interview was strictly English. Hiring manager first asks about your understanding of JD then proceeds to share details of the job. Questioning during this period in my opinion is a plus, shows that you are thinking about the job details. Next, hiring manager proceeds to ask about hypothetical scenarios and hears about your handling of the situation, the scenario becomes stricter every time you answer. For example, "How would you go about solving a customer's problems", then adds time restrictions, resource restrictions etc.
The second interview tests your thinking skills, they will give you some examples on a specific function, and wants you to use that knowledge on a case study. You will have to show your thinking process, showing which method you think is best.
