I was recruited by the District Manager. After a preliminary interview (just getting coffee to know each other), we sat down the next day for a formal 1:1 in-person interview. I then did phone interviews with another District Manager, the Director of Stores, and the VP of Human Resources. Noone during the process seemed to be quite sure why the last 2 were even done - including those who did them (the VP-HR was very curt, then frank in admitting he wasn't needed in the process).
