I had a group interview in the later part of last year at Kohl's that I ended up missing by going the wrong day, so when I reapplied, I was surprised to get a call for another group interview. The interview day was February 23rd. I ended up being the only female in a group of 6 people. We started off with our names, how old we are, what we applied for, and a little something about ourselves. Then some basic questions were tossed out and anyone was allowed to answer them. Stuff like: "What do you know about Kohl's?" "Where was the first store opened?" "What do you consider good customer service when you are shopping?" I was nervous because I have only had 3 interviews in the past, and I felt like I didn't stand out as much as the very talkative guys in my group, so I was surprised to have received a call about an hour later with an offer. Yesterday, February 27th was orientation. We took a tour of the store, stock rooms, security office, watched some videos, and filled out some paperwork.
