Initial 45 min call with "digital" team, questions regarding academic and professional background. Questions on programming languages, data warehouses, and projects involved in current day to day work. Then video interview with hiring manager, has essentially no programming or advanced technical skills (where the digital team comes in). No "tell me about a time" or STAR questions, more casual conversation like "what's your management style". Couldn't put my finger on it, but the video interview left a bad taste in my mouth, something was off. Over a month went by without hearing anything. Manager moved forward with another candidate and I never would have been informed had I not emailed multiple times.
