    I've applied online and was contacted soon after.

    1) Video chat interview with an engineering manager. It was a standard screening interview with standard questions.
    2) I've received a task to implement a search interface for Star Wars characters using the latest tech. I've completed the task in a few days and sent it back.

    Then I got ghosted... Only crickets for two months despite me following up. At some point I've noticed that they removed the ad from their website so I figured they hired someone and decided to ghost the rest of the applicants.

    I don't know why I even bothered after reading the reviews on Glassdoor.

    1st round with the hiring manager via video call which was very good.
    2nd round they asked me to do a research proposal which I learned later that I don't have to present it. I have a feeling that they just run the interview to get the research proposal for free. During the onsite, I had 3 sessions of interviews with 3 groups of people from 10 am to 1 pm without any lunch. Basically, I have to repeat my self-introduction and experience 3 times. It was completely a waste of time.
    The company promised to get back within a week and then after more than 2 weeks, they sent an email said they would go ahead with other candidates.

    I regret that I put so much effort into the proposal and for nothing! I feel being used by this company. And I have a feeling that they don't know what they are looking for!

    Not to mention, the company has no phone number that works. When you send them an email, it is up to them to reply to you whenever they want. I found this very unprofessional.
    The only good thing is they offered me accommodation since I am from far away.

    passed a phone screening, then I was sent a take home exercise. HORRIBLY worded, not enough details, and you're left to imagine the whole thing, basically. I solved it but of course, they didn't like the answer. They said "It works, but not what we expected". of course it's not. I wouldn't have liked to work for a company with this attitude anyway.

    I applied for the backend developer position and had a skype interview a week or so later. immediately afterwards I was given a coding assignment to complete within a week. I received a reply about a week and a half after submitting the code but unfortunately I was unsuccessful.

    • Please develop a small containerised product service with an HTTP API. We would love to see your working solution including tests, a local development environment, and some documentation.

      The intended API can be interfaced via HTTP and should provide the following endpoints:

      GET /products
      POST /auth
      GET /user
      GET /user/products
      POST /user/products
      DELETE /user/products/{SKU}
      (SKU meaning a unique product identifier in this and following context)

      Users, products and previous purchases are provided as CSVs in the attached zip and need to be imported into the service once. For simplicity the user password is not hashed in the provided file.

      The `/products` endpoint should return all available product data.

      The API should offer some basic authentication to authenticate a specific user at the `/auth` endpoint. After a user is authenticated, the user should see user data (returns name) at the `/user` endpoint, the purchased products at `/user/products` (returns SKU (unique product identifier) + name). It should be possible to attach or remove purchased products to a particular user account.

      Please consider:

      The application should be containerised using Docker
      The solution should be provided as a single archive, containing a git repository and a Docker Compose file to start the application
      The application should log any output to stdout
      The application should use HTTP status codes to indicate success or failure of an operation
      The data stored should be persisted so a restart of the application does not clear it
      Try to focus on solving the problem and don’t over-engineer your solution. Please consider using a framework. Don’t worry if you don’t have time to finish everything, please address the potential optimisations and we can talk about that in the next step.   Répondre à cette question

    I applied online and without even a phone interview they emailed me a massive unpaid offsite multi-hour task that I was expected to complete, and so I refused. This is from a person who spells like this - benefitial. This company shows from their hiring process that they are absolutely to be avoided

    I applied with via Linkedin. NI returned in ten days.

    The recruiter shared meeting code for hangout in CEST timeline.
    Unfortunately, I joined the first interview with 10 minutes delay.
    It was my fault, related to a misunderstanding of the time zone.

    Although getting off to a bad start, The recruiter's energy was positive and relaxing. The recruiter was very kind, understanding and offered to postpone the interview, but I prefer to move forward.

    Actually, questions were not hard and extraordinary. Just related to NI and job description of the position. At the end of the interview, the recruiter asked my questions. Then, they answered my questions concurrently.

    Roughly one month after the interview, the recruiter firstly requested a call about feedback their recruiting process. The recruiter had informed me in a call; they move forward with another candidate for this position. Their decision not shaped with my audio meeting performance but other candidates experience and skills.

    Not only NI's products and service but also their HR's interview process was shiny. NI's HR process is very parallel with their web page. NI's HR process is honest and open and cares about the people.

I have not as yet had an interview but they have now sent me 3 emails rejecting me from jobs I did not apply for, and every so often the "Recruiting Specialist" emails me asking me for my portfolio for an unspecified role as if she has never spoken to me before 🤦‍♂️💯

    The interview itself was average, although some of the managers' answers to my questions were vague and confused. It looked like they weren't sure if they were looking for a UX/UI designer or only UX, although the job description was including both. The entire recruiting process was exhaustingly long, approximately 5 months, and badly managed.
