J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Network Rail (Milton Keynes, Angleterre) en oct. 2025
Entretien
The interview was an assessment day, we were told to arrive for a prompt 9am start and prepare a presentation on our plan for the first 6 months in the role. Arrived at 9am, had a quick briefing and was shown the agenda.
The day was made up of 3 interviews:
1. Competency interview
2. Technical "interview" - stakeholder mapping exercise
3. Presentation and Health&Safety interview
In each interview, there were two interviewers. Each interviewee was scheduled times for these interviews, which led to everyone having literally hours of downtime between. It was inefficient and really not impressive for such a large and prestigious company.
During the stakeholder mapping exercise, the two interviewers talked amongst themselves about their dating lives which was distracting and unprofessional.
In the competency interview, they referred to the drug testing policy that should have been shared by HR prior to the interview but was not.
The team itself seemed very friendly, and the interviews were okay, but it seemed to be ineffectually organised.
