    Call with recruiter, 1 hour call with hiring manager, take home coding challenge (~3 hours), 7 hour video call interview with team including a few more tech/coding challenges. Overall it was a great experience. The process was quick which was great because I was interviewing at multiple companies. The 7 hour team interview was probably the best interview experience I've ever had. The team was warm and welcoming and made me feel at ease which allowed me to truly showcase myself and my capabilities!

    This was an overall positive, very thorough, very well organized process! End to end, this process took just over 4 weeks from the first phone screen.

    1. First, I applied, actually for a different position, but that position was under the same hiring manager. I was contacted by a senior technical recruiter via phone to learn more about me and my interest in the company, who asked if I would be interested in this position as well. We had a great conversation, I was asked some questions about my experience, but mostly just learned about the culture, etc. The recruiter was very easy to talk to and very knowledgable.
    2. Next, I had a BlueJeans video interview with the hiring manager. He asked me questions about my experience, asked me about my interest in the company, and took the time to explain both roles to me. It was very nice to hear more about the organization and how these 2 roles I was interviewing for fit into the organization.
    3. I was asked to complete an assignment for the Senior Training position. The assignment was given on a Thursday and I was asked to return on the following Tuesday. I was also asked if this was enough time (how courteous!)
    4. I returned my assignment. Then, I was asked to complete another interview with several people on the hiring committee for the Senior Training position. This interview was scheduled for 9am-12pm. The interview began with my presentation, which was a presentation of the training assignment. Then I met with pairs of interviewers and was asked many behavioral style questions.
    5. Finally, I was contacted by the recruiter and told I was the top candidate for the Senior Trainer position and needed to complete one more interview, with the VP of the department I would be joining.
    6. I completed the interview with the VP and shortly after this BlueJeans video interview, I was called and verbally offered the job, which followed with a written offer.

    Thoughtful and well coordinated process. The team was great despite the fact the process was 100% video due to Corona Virus 19. Hiring team communicated next steps clearly and made themselves available for additional questions via email and calls.

    Referred by an employee, so my first contact was with the hiring manager. I can't remember if it was 30 or 60 minutes, but it was your typical phone screen. Then, I spoke with a recruiter for about 30 minutes. I especially appreciated that the recruiter was up front with the compensation for the position -- no "what salary do you expect" -- just "here's what we would pay you, is that ok?" Then, I had a full day of virtual interviews with various people -- sometimes 2 on 1, sometimes 1 on 1. The last step was a final interview with the people who would report to me.

    The background check was a bit wonky. They wanted the name, title, and email address of a person they could talk to in my previous companies going 10 years back. All three of my previous employers use automated systems and there was no way to enter that in the form I was given. That caused me some amount of angst, but they got the background check done.

    The interview process was straight forward where I got to understand how the team works. Everyone on the team was very helpful in answering any questions and helped me through the process with setting the right expectation from someone in this role and as a team overall. All the steps I had helped me learn more about the role, team and overall company in more detail.

    Applied online, recruiter called me shortly after to phone screen, then a short phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, I had to do an "exercise" that was meant to gauge my skills for the role, which took about 2 hours. After that, I had a video interview with potential peer. I was then asked to fly to the HQ in San Fran to meet the rest of the team. I had 4-5 interviews in a row in person with various people including peers, the hiring manager and the hiring manager's boss. A week later I was made an offer.

    3) presentation on what I would do as a New Relic Rep on an account (they gave me 4 days)

    4) Negotiation with recruiter on final package
