Too many interview rounds, overall good follow-up. 3 to 4 interviews plus a final panel interview including a use case. Feedback took too much time and it was not always clear.

I found the interview process at Okta extremely smooth and well coordinated. The process was straight forward from initial call with the Lead Recruiter, interview with the Hiring Manager, a peer interview and then a final interview with the RVP Commercial Sales. For each stage I was briefed on the preparation needed for the next call. The entire process was less than 3 weeks (could've been shorter but I was on holiday).

Made it to the final round of interviews. A presentation. I was ghosted by the hiring manager and the HR rep. I had to follow up to be told they were not interested. The hiring manager ignored my follow-up email thanking her for the opportunity and asking for feedback. Poor experience overall.

The hiring manager was aggressive, unfriendly and obviously very unexperienced. I've never had such a bad experience in my life. He started the interview with "we'll see if you are fit for a role or confirm that not so much". I probably had to stop it right there, but I stayed for the next very painful 10 minutes before I dropped.

Good informed interview rounds, of average to difficult questions. At 3/4 round they give you a roleplay case study. The people from HR and the team I spoke to are Friendly, provide good information and are helpful. Seems to be great place to work with a lot of challenges and benefits.

- Multiple calls with senior leadership and solutions engineering diving into experience, but mostly finding our about the candidate - quite refreshing approach, as it's not just about "Talk me through your CV" - Update calls with Recruiter in between Recruiter was pro-active and ensured continued interest after each meeting. Also helpful in setting expectations - Final panel (discovery call) and presentation The most difficult of all meetings was the last one. Multiple senior leaders in a role play; a discovery call. It's quite a challenge and requires some prep work. Overall the process was quite smooth and I appreciated getting insights into the team & job and not just talk about myself

Die gehaltene Präsentation war perfekt vorbereitet, jedoch wurden spezifische Fragen gestellt, die man nicht beantworten konnte. Es war von Anfang an ein sehr schwieriges Set was ausschließlich technisch dominiert war.

Easy and fun, everyone I talked to was super nice. I would recommend applying to Okta. You do have to do a cold call with three different people on the call.
